New Super Mario Odyssey Trailer is Simply “Cap-tivating” (VIDEO)

Super Mario Odyssey Trailer

We are now in the month of October, which means the release of the new Mario title will be arriving soon. As we close in on the launch date of the Nintendo Switch game, a fresh Super Mario Odyssey trailer has appeared, showing fans a bit more of what the installment is all about.

Many gamers that are anticipating the upcoming title already know about Mario’s now-sentient cap, appropriately named “Cappy”. In fact, Nintendo’s pun skills were on point in the description of the new video, referring to the game as “cap-tivating”. We see you, Nintendo. Outside of the impeccable use of words, the Super Mario Odyssey trailer is meant as an overview of the title. The titular hero can be seen running through various environments, throwing inhibition to the wind as he assumes the role of anything he tosses Cappy onto. Check out all of the glory that is to come below:

A plethora of new outfits can also be seen in the latest Super Mario Odyssey trailer, including construction worker and explorer. As Nintendo revealed last month, Mario hasn’t been a plumber for some time, but that won’t stop players from believing he is and forever will be. After all, that’s what we have always known him as.

Photo mode and 2-player co-op are also featured in the video. The former allows users to export images with a mobile phone format, allowing one to obtain some sweet eye candy on their background, while the latter will let a player assume the role of Cappy. All of this and more can be seen in the trailer above, and for more Mario goodness to come, keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers!
