The World of Steven Universe to Hit Consoles This Summer!

Steven Universe has taken the world by storm since it’s original release on November 4th of 2013 with its fantastic story telling elements and stunning visual queues. It features Steven, the only human-crystal gem hybrid. and a gang of crystal gems that have become maternal figures in his life while he figures out who he is and combats the forces of disarray that tie his universe to that of the rest of their ‘universe’.

As a follow up to the mobile RPG Steven Universe: Attack The Light, Cartoon Network Games has once again paired with game development company Grumpyface Studios to release a console based RPG by the name of Steven Universe: Save the Light. In this game it seems that Steven will be taking a little bit more of an active role, which is fantastic for fans of the TV series. He will of course be joined by Amethyst, Pearl and Garnet, the crystal gems who have become his caretakers in the hit show. The mobile game was a huge hit so seeing a console release isn’t that surprising, but still an amazing fans for its huge following.

The debut of the gameplay will be taking place at PAX East this weekend during the Cartoon Network Games Panel Saturday! It will be the first time that the console version will be revealed to the public for fans to enjoy. There is no information at this time of a set release date, however we do know that more information about what fans can expect will be dropped at this weekend’s panel in Boston.
