Star Realms Launches Deluxe Nova Collection Kickstarter (VIDEO)
Star Realms is a fantastic and oftentimes competitive science-fiction deck-building game by White Wizard Games. The original game originated as a Kickstarter campaign in 2013 and has since evolved with card packs, multiple expansions, and other fun additions. In their latest venture in expansion, White Wizard Games launches another Kickstarter for Star Realms Deluxe Nova Collection, the “ultimate version of the award-winning original.” Check out the trailer below:
Aside from the no reward tier, interested backers can get the Star Realms Deluxe Nova Collection for $89 as a part of their early bird special. This base tier feature more than 250 foil cards, 6 large score dials, a 14 inch by 24 inch game board, fully colored rule book, specially designed game box, and more. For those that have enjoyed this game before, the score dial is a handy tool that tracks one’s Authority as you trek toward imminent domination.
According to the official Kickstarter page, Star Realms Deluxe Nova Collection is exclusive to the campaign and won’t be available in distribution. So, if you’re a fan of the series and looking for more, this is a bundle you don’t want to miss out on.
I personally own two units of the starter box myself thanks to one of my wonderfully nerdy professors in college. It’s a fast-paced and competitive deck-builder for those that enjoy tabletop fun! Plus, science-fiction and spaceships thematics are always a plus.
