Square Enix Announces Its E3 2019 Conference
It’s been quite a long wait, but E3 2019 is finally just a few short months away, and as such developers and publishers alike have begun to get all their ducks lined up for the big event. Square Enix is certainly no exception to this, as the Japanese publisher has officially announced its E3 2019 timeline.
The news comes by way of Square Enix’s official Twitter account, wherein the publisher made public its plans for this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. According to the post, fans can look forward to “another exciting line up of titles,” though many are more interested in previously announced titles than they are new ones.

I am of course referring to the Final Fantasy VII Remake, which has received an increased amount of speculation as of late thanks to the recent reveal of a Final Fantasy VII concert that is set to take place in the days leading up to E3. The timing is incredibly suspect, and given that Square Enix has been known to show game footage while music plays during its concerts (namely with Distant Worlds), there is all the likelihood in the world that new Remake footage will show just ahead of an official reveal at E3.
There is also the possibility of the long anticipated Avengers project, which has yet to officially be revealed. Given that Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame debuts in theaters next month, the timing would certainly work for an E3 2019 reveal. As stated, the Square Enix E3 2019 conference kicks off on Monday June 10 at 6pm PT.
