Splatoon 2’s Next Splatfest Announced – Which Side Will You Choose?
Now that Team Mayo and Team Ketchup have squashed their beef in Splatoon 2‘s previous Splatfest, it is time for two new factions to face off in the name of all that is inky. Nintendo has recently announced the two sides that will be pitted against one another, and to be honest, it might be the one mankind has been waiting for. Would you rather be able to fly… or would you rather hold the power of invisibility?
Flight has always been a popular choice when it comes to this age old hypothetical. Let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to be able to soar through the skies? That is, of course, unless you are afraid of heights. On the other hand, invisibility also has its perks. Perform tasks without interruption, avoid interaction with other humans, and do a number of things with the assistance of being invisible.

As seen in the tweet above, the upcoming Splatfest is set to take place September 1-2. Team Flight will be represented by Pearl, while Team Invisibility will be led by Marina. Unfortunately, players in North America won’t be able to enjoy the event on the new Splatoon 2 Switch bundle that was just announced. While that isn’t a deal breaker, those neon green and pink Joy-Cons are downright beautiful. With a little less than two weeks away from the next Splatfest, which side will you be choosing?
