South Park Nintendo Switch Port For “The Fractured But Whole” Possibly Hinted At By Ubisoft

South Park Nintendo Switch

The recent Nintendo Direct Mini that popped up showed off a handful of titles that would be making their way to the company’s hybrid console this year. While the brief presentation featured some great games that are inbound, many fans were left wondering about some other rumors that have been floating around the internet for some time. One potential reveal that was not present was that of a South Park Nintendo Switch port for The Fractured But Whole, however, it looks like that could be rectified in the near future.

Recently, one Ubisoft Montreuil lighting and 3D animator, who goes by Ubi-PandaR0o on Twitter, sent out a vague tweet that hints at an upcoming announcement that involves Big N. With the publisher already showing support for the portable console in the form of the Just Dance franchise and Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition, it’s not entirely out of the question that a South Park Nintendo Switch port for The Fractured But Whole could be on the way. Check out the tweet below:

Since the Ubisoft employee doesn’t specifically say what the incoming announcement is, it’s always fun to speculate. With the recent unveiling of Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, now would be the perfect time to dip the franchise’s toes into the Switch’s waters. Actually, the same could be said for many of Ubisoft’s series, including the highly-anticipated Beyond Good and Evil 2. Who knows, maybe a visit to Montana will be in the future for Switch owners. Only time will tell.

That being said, maybe the tweet is referring to the possible Nintendo Direct that, if the trend continues, will be arriving at any point in the next couple weeks. Ubi-PandaR0o followed the above tweet with a bit more about what’s coming, but it’s still just as vague. Check it out:

We’ll just have to wait until whatever is coming actually shows up before we can know for sure. Maybe we’re about to see Ubisoft announce a bounty of titles for the Switch at the next Nintendo Direct.
