The development team at Rare provided some behind the scenes insight with a new Sea of Thieves video. The trio discussed NPCs and the role they play in the the world that players will interact with. Additionally, the devs discussed the dialogue system and how the AI will be able to react to the world around them and speak to recent events going on. After listening to the latest Sea of Thieves video, their is a lot of insight the team offered on what kind of player experience we can expect. For those who played the Alpha version of the game, the NPCs in-game will be more unique than just the replicated AI seen before. Additionally, the evolving dialogue system will be very “exciting” and will make every experience feel like a brand new adventure. Finally, the game’s unique puzzle solving system will keep players on their toes – or wooden peg leg – to be able to unlock the most amount of booty.
