Saints Row Reboot Special Editions, Pre-Order Bonus Revealed
While Gamescom, perhaps the largest annual gathering devoted to video games, was not able to be held in-person this year, the digitally-based version of the event still held plenty of surprises for gamers at home. The early parts of the event saw several major announcements made, heralding new games and for some, their release dates. One surprising new announcement that few saw coming was the announcement of a Saints Row reboot. The trailer for the new Saints Row game surprised many with its team-focused story presentation, and yet colorful visuals. Now, the Saints Row reboot special editions and pre-order bonuses have been revealed.
Deep Silver has revealed new information about the Saints Row reboot special editions and pre-order bonuses on the game’s official website. For digital copies of the game, fans can pick between standard, gold and platinum versions of the game. Physical copies of the game come in standard, criminal customs and Notorious Editions. Pre-orders of the standard versions come with an Idols Anarchy Pack of cosmetic items. Any of the non-standard versions when pre-ordered come with a Saints Criminal Customs pack, consisting of a convertible and jacket.
For the digital Saints Row reboot special editions, the gold edition includes a Los Panteros American muscle bundle and access to the game’s expansion pass, while the platinum edition includes those and a copy of Saints Row the Third remastered. For the physical special editions, the criminal customs edition comes with all the aforementioned pre-order bonuses. The Notorious edition includes everything from the gold edition, and a variety of physical goodies. These include a steelbook case, artbook, poster, art cards and more. For Saints Row fans, any one of these special editions would be just the thing to help relieve their wait for the series to return once more, even if it is sans Octopus guns.
