Saints Row Movie In Development From Men In Black Director

Saints Row Film In Development From Men In Black Director

In a surprising turn of events, somebody has decided it would be a good idea to make a movie based on the popular Saints Row franchise. Fans of the series know that it contains some rather over-the-top antics, but Men in Black: International director F. Gary Gray has been selected to take the helm on the project.

As reported by Deadline, Gray’s Fenix Studios will be teaming up with Koch Media and Occupant Entertainment to take on what will surely be a huge task in making a Saints Row movie. It’s also worth noting that Koch Media is the parent company of Deep Silver, the developers of the Saints Row games.

No other information about actors, which game or games they’ll be pulling the story from, or anything like that has been revealed at this time, but we are sure to hopefully learn more in the coming months as a screenplay comes together. Then again, this is another video game adaptation, and we all know how those typically go. However, Gray has a decent track record with the likes of Straight Outta Compton, Law Abiding Citizen, Friday, and many other hits. Either way, it will be interesting to see how everything plays out.
