Red Dead Online Possibly Teasing Zombie-Themed Event

red dead redemption red dead online undead nightmare feat

Red Dead Online is known for glitchy weirdness and unpredictable. So, when mysterious appearances of undead non-playable characters roaming about the online multiplayer game, players aren’t sure what to make of it. Some brushed it off as a mistake, while others believe this could be teasing something more.

Since Red Dead Online’s update last week, players have spotted random appearances from zombies. Various corpses have been found since with this lady below wandering idly in odd locations. At first, some believed these appearances to be a mere glitches with cholera victims in the game. However, as more of these undead NPCs reveal themselves, a closer look suggests a zombie-related event to come. Check out a sighting below:

Given how close we are to the month of October, there’s no doubt a zombie event is imminent. Others in the community discovered various strange sightings with undead lying around with glowing green eyes, blue skin, and more. With that said, seeing how popular the original Red Dead game’s Undead Nightmare was, it’s a possibility that the developers have a sweet and spooky DLC in store. Here’s to hoping!

Do you think it’s truly a glitch or could the devs be teasing a little something-something for Red Dead Redemption 2? Perhaps it’s closer to home and they’re preparing a special event for Red Dead Online?
