PUBG Celebrates Over 4 Million Users On Xbox One With Free Battle Points!
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds recently made its debut on consoles as an Xbox One console exclusive. While there have been some growing pains at the beginning of the battle royale game’s stint as an Xbox Game Preview title the dust has now sufficiently settled, and the player base has been skyrocketing ever since. Now, PUBG celebrates yet another milestone, as the community of players on the Xbox One has officially surpassed 4 million players!
As PUBG celebrates its latest milestone, developer PUBG Corp has announced in a new blog post that it will be rewarding Xbox One players with 30,000 Battle Points (BP) with which to purchase cosmetic crates, or change their appearance, in-game. In order to qualify for the free BP, players must have purchased PUBG for Xbox One and created a character before January 31 at 12AM PST. The free Battle Points will be delivered to players after February 1, 2018 at 12AM PT.
In the same blog post, PUBG Corp Lead Community Manager Sammie Kang released a statement confirming the developer’s commitment to PUBG for Xbox One. “We will continue to build on the foundation we’ve laid with PUBG on Xbox One with the feedback received from the community and we encourage you to continue in your pursuit of chicken dinner,” Kang said.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PUBG version 1.0 recently arrived for PC, marking the title’s full release and the end of its term on Steam’s Early Access program.
