PlayStation Plus Free Games For July 2019 Changed To Include A Special Bonus
Last month, Sony had an undeniably impressive lineup for its PlayStation Plus free games, allowing subscription owners to pick up both Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania through the month of June. As nice as it was to see a couple highly replayable titles go free for the month, Sony unfortunately missed a step with its latest batch of offerings, which initially featured Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo. Now, it looks like Sony has realized its mistake, as its July 2019 PlayStation Plus offers have been changed for the better.
Sony took to its initial blog post for the free games for July 2019 to announce a change in the lineup. Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 will no longer be available as a free game through PlayStation Plus, being replaced instead with Detroit: Become Human. Not only that, but it is actually the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, which means that those that download it will also have access to Heavy Rain. Here’s what Detroit: Become Human is all about:
“In Detroit: Become Human, discover what it really means to be human in a powerful, emotional journey made of choice and consequences. Set in Detroit City during the year 2038, the city has been revitalized by the invention and introduction of Androids into everyday life. But when Androids start behaving as if they are alive, events begin to spin out of control. Step into the roles of the story’s pivotal three playable characters, each with unique perspectives as they face their new way of life.”
