Halo 5: Guardians is the title that will be featured during the reality experience, so fans of the game should be excited to hear this news. So far, there is no word from either source when the show will be expected to premier, or what the details of the competition experience will be like, so it’s definitely going to be important to check back frequently until we hear more about it. What we do know is that this is a collaborative effort between Pilgrim Media Group, Lionsgate, 343, and ESL video game league. ESL already takes center stage with talking about and hosting Halo in Esports competitions, so they’ve definitely got the experience behind them to back this project. With so many big name developers and producers behind the wheel on this, the soon-to-be reality experience is sure to be a big hit.
There has already been news about an Esports Youtube show coming soon, so it’s no surprise that the web is taking this with sheer excitement. With Halo’s impressive $5 billion in sales since 2001, and Esports’ growing popularity for go-to video game entertainment, we’re excited to see what comes of this Halo Reality show and how the film companies plan on executing its production.
