No Man’s Sky Xbox One Cover Leaked Early, Possible Co-Op Feature In Store
Hello Games founder, Sean Murray, revealed that No Man’s Sky will launch on the Xbox One in March with partner 505 Games alongside their anticipated update titled “NEXT”. So it’s been no secret that the game will arrive on the Microsoft console, but the meat of its content remains largely unknown. That is until last week when the Inside Xbox segment revealed the next episode will reveal more details on No Man’s Sky. Before that, however, it looks like the cover was leaked prematurely.
Thanks to YouTuber and faithful fan, Peaceful Gamer, who took to Twitter to reveal the box art of No Man’s Sky release on Xbox One. Even at first glance, there are quite a few notable differences compared to its PS4 and PC counterparts. There are ringed planets, multiple explorers, and tiny details that hint at a substantial content update. It’s a possibility that the art hints at a co-op play feature, which is exactly what fans have been asking for! That would be nothing short of exciting if true. Check out the cover art below:
As long as this is an actual leak of the Xbox One version of No Man’s Sky, then there’s a lot of new features and content to look forward to. So far as leaks go, they should always be taken with a grain of salt. With that being said, this looks all too good not to be true. Then again, there are convincing false alarms out there, so we’ll have to wait and see the official news during the Inside Xbox segment tomorrow.
No Man’s Sky is available now for for PlayStation 4 and PC. Meanwhile, episode 3 of Inside Xbox will begin on May 17th, 2018 at 6:30 PM EST / 3:30 PM PST, and the team has an abundance of news to share especially in terms of State of Decay 2, Halo, No Man’s Sky, and many more.
