Nintendo Direct Coming Next Week, According To Leak

Nintendo Direct

A new year has officially arrived, which mean we have a clean slate that is sure to be filled with new game announcements and updates that gamers everywhere will be excited to see. That said, a recent leak points to the next Nintendo Direct taking place later this month.

Sources for Gaming INTEL are placing the date for the next Nintendo Direct as early as next week. Last month, the same source informed the site that a new presentation would be coming in January, but they are now saying it will take place very soon. “I was told January 10th from one source,” they told the site. “This hasn’t been cross checked between sources. Most of my other sources are still undecided on an exact date, but are certain of a Nintendo January Direct.”

The site notes that their source has been correct many times before when it comes to Nintendo Direct dates. However, nothing is confirmed and this leak should be treated as such (keep the salt nearby).

In addition to this, there’s no telling exactly what Big N would have in store for fans at the next presentation. Their most recent announcement at The Game Awards last month revealed that Persona’s Joker was joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster via DLC. It might be a bit too early to disclose the next fighter, but one can only hope.

Until we receive official word from Nintendo, however, we’ll just have to keep on speculating as to when the next Direct will take place, and what exactly it will entail.
