Nickelodeon Releases Sneak Peek of Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie at SDCC (VIDEO)
Nickelodeon released a brand new three minute clip from Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and it brings back so many memories of the animated show. In the video, fans of the original cartoon get to see so many of the familiar characters we all remember, as they surprise Arnold on a rooftop with a video all about him. It consists of a bunch of testimonials from his friends and family about what a great guy he is, starting with his best friend Gerald. Take a look for yourself below:
“We call him Arnold: friend to all, force for decency, doer of good. He’s the most dependable, trusty, true-blue friend I can imagine.” Throughout the clip we see the likes of Sid, Helga, Eugene, Harold, and Rhonda, as well as Stoop Kid, Dino Spumoni, and Pigeon Man to name just a tiny few. It seems that Arnold has been entered into some kind of contest where the prize is a trip to a place called “San Lorenzo”. It’s already known that the newest Hey Arnold! movie is set two years after the last episode and takes place in the fictional South American country of San Lorenzo, so spoiler alert, we think he wins!
During the panel at SDCC, series creator Craig Bartlett said, “The biggest question the movie will answer is who Arnold’s parents are and what happened to them.” Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie is set to premiere November 23rd on Nickelodeon.
