New X-Men: Dark Phoenix Photo Shows Off Cyclops’ New Look

X-Men: Dark Phoenix photo

A new X-Men: Dark Phoenix photo from the set has emerged online, taking the internet by storm in showing off a brand new visor for Tye Sheridan’s Cyclops. The image was spotted on Twitter with Sheridan offering up a peace sign and donning the redesigned specs. Check out the Twitter post below to see the new look coming in the next X-Men installment:

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is being written and directed by Simon Kinberg, who previously worked on Days of Future Past and Apocalypse. From the look of things, Dark Phoenix will focus solely on the storyline from the comics, after it was previously mentioned in The Last Stand. Of course, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence will be returning in the next film, while Jessica Chastain is in talks to play Lilandra, empress of the Shi’ar Empire.

It looks like a lot of changes are coming the way of our favorite X-Men heroes, especially if the film follows the plot of the comics closely. If that’s the case, then our heroes may end up fighting an intergalactic war and Cyclops’ new and updated visor may come in handy for this particular fight. So far, no other updates have come from the film creators, so it may be a little while before any further updates are given. In the meantime, make sure to check back with DFTG as we continue to follow the scoop on this upcoming film adaptation. X-Men: Dark Phoenix is due to hit theaters November 2nd, 2018 as the story of these wayward heroes continues its trek.
