The PlayStation 4 exclusive game The Last Guardian follows a little boy and his gigantic half bird, half mammal friend Trico while they evade the guards who are coming after them. This game has been in development for a long time, since 2007 in fact, and was originally announced at the E3 Expo in 2009.

The Last Guardian was intended for release in the year 2011, but numerous delays had caused it to be put on hold until the game was re-announced at the same expo in 2015 and it will be finally released in December of this year. This trailer is visually striking to see and shows the boy and his buddy Trico going up against what looks to be something very similar to Trico itself, only not as friendly looking.
