Of course, among the group is the ‘New Kid’ which is where the player comes in. Living the Superhero life is not all that it’s cracked up to be, especially when living a double life as an elementary student. The new South Park: The Fractured But Whole trailer highlights just that:

To those who may not be familiar with this title, here is what can be expected in the New South Park: The Fractured But Whole:

From the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, comes South Park: The Fractured but Whole, a sequel to 2014’s award-winning South Park: The Stick of Truth. Players will once again assume the role of the New Kid and join South Park favorites Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman in a new hilarious and outrageous RPG adventure.

In South Park: The Fractured but Whole, players will delve into the crime-ridden underbelly of South Park with Coon and Friends. This dedicated group of crime fighters was formed by Eric Cartman whose superhero alter-ego, The Coon, is half man, half raccoon. As the New Kid, players will join Mysterion, Toolshed, Human Kite and a host of others to battle the forces of evil while Coon strives to make his team the most beloved superheroes in history.

Fans can expect hilarity to ensue as they run around South Park and interact with all of the familiar characters. Players will choose from a variety of twelve classes for the ‘New Kid’: Brutalist, Blaster, Speedster, Elementalist, Gadgeteer, Mystic, Cyborg, Psychic, Assassin, Commander, Netherborn, and Karate Kid. One other factor of the sequel is the ability to choose their gender, which affects how the characters in the game talk to the protagonist.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole releases on October 17th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
