Death Stranding is easily one of the most mysterious games to pop up in recent years. What makes things even worse is the fact that we don’t even know when to expect the PlayStation 4 exclusive to launch. That said, Hideo Kojima himself has been teasing a new trailer recently, and the latest tease is easily the most enticing one yet.

In a recent tweet from the Death Stranding director, footage of what appears to possibly be the new trailer can be seen. However, the vast majority of the footage is covered with a dark liquid, not unlike that of which we have seen in previous trailers, and only the shape of a hand is visible to viewers. It is certainly an interesting video, but not one that is surprising in the slightest. After all, this is Hideo Kojima that we are talking about. Considering all of the teases he loves getting out there, we imagine he has no issue with teasing fans up until the very second Death Stranding is released. Unfortunately, we still don’t know when that is, but here’s to hoping we learn in the very near future.
