EA and DICE have remained rather quiet regarding the next installment in the Battlefield series, and while we know Need for Speed has been delayed to ensure the FPS ships with help from Criterion, we still don’t know a lot about the title. That said, it would appear that a recent survey sent out by EA may have hinted at some features fans can expect to see in Battlefield 6.

The survey in question was brought to the Internet’s attention by several fans, including Twitter user @_Tom_Henderson_, who offered up a few details that were hinted at in the survey by EA. According to Henderson, EA asked about things such as a Battle Pass, clan system, a free-to-play aspect, and more. Of course, as is noted by Henderson, it is important to remember that this does not confirm that these features will be part of Battlefield 6.

This does not confirm what’s coming to the game, but more often than not surveys like these are carried out to gauge the communities thoughts and the results can be used to determine when to announce features etc.

Considering how long Battlefield 6 has likely been in development, there is a good chance that these features are already part of the game. This may also be why Henderson pointed out that surveys such as these are typically sent out to gauge thoughts and reactions by the community in order to determine when would be the best time to officially reveal them. Either way, it would seem that we just might be learning more about Battlefield 6 at some point in the near future.
