Netflix’s Castlevania Final Season Trailer Revealed – “Vengeance Rises” (VIDEO)
Revising the long-running Castlevania games into an anime, Netflix’s animated adaptation seemingly accomplished the impossible by actually managing to do the beloved series justice across three solid seasons of episodes. With a fourth and final season currently waiting in the wings, the series’ fanbase is slowly counting the days until the finale reaches the airwaves of the internet. Ahead of the imminent premiere, Netflix has released a new trailer teasing the anime’s action-packed culmination to come.
The new footage looks to follow the anime’s main trio after the events of season 3, with Trevor and Sypha discovering a plot to resurrect the dreaded Dracula and Alucard gearing up to battle the chaos erupting around him. We also see that Hector is readying a new army of night creatures as Isaac assembles a vengeful monster force of his own. The whole trailer paints a picture of an epic collision that’s sure to close the series on a decidedly violent note. Check out the trailer for Castlevania season 4 below.
The end of Netflix’s Castlevania may be upon us, but there looks to be plenty of projects on the horizon to keep anime fans entertained. Not only is a Castlevania spin-off confirmed to be in the works, but Netflix is also pursuing adaptations of other gaming properties such as CDPR’s The Witcher, as well as Capcom’s Resident Evil and Devil May Cry. Of course, considering Henry Cavill’s The Witcher, a new Cowboy Bebop series, and an upcoming adaption of Gundam, there appears to be no shortage of live-action works on the way as well.
Netflix’s Castlevania Season 4 begins streaming on May 13th.
