Mortal Kombat 11's Shang Tsung Is Now Available (VIDEO)

Ever since its release, Mortal Kombat 11 has been doing an excellent job at keeping its player base busy with an onslaught of new characters, game modes, and more. Now, it looks like the roster is getting just a bit bigger with the arrival of the first character promised from the previously announced Kombat Pack, Shang Tsung.

Mortal Kombat 11 character Shang Tsung is now available to download and play today, representing the first character within the Kombat Pack. The first of six DLC characters, Shang Tsung poses an interesting question to players: Why play as one character at a time, when you can instead play as many? Not sure what I mean? Check out his official gameplay trailer below:

Here’s what WB Games has to say about Shang Tsung:

“Shang Tsung is the soul-stealing sorcerer and historic host of the Mortal Kombat Tournament. Shang Tsung pledged his eternal loyalty to Shao Kahn in exchange for a dark power, but he is no faithful servant. He dreams of the day his sorcery will overtake Shao Kahn’s, and he’ll pay any price to get there. Actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is lending his voice and likeness to the popular character he portrayed in the classic 1995 Mortal Kombat film.”

WB Games posted a guide on how to download Shang Tsung, which can be found right here. If Shang Tsung isn’t your type, you can also look forward to the arrival of Sindel, Spawn, Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise, and more as part of the Kombat Pack.

Mortal Kombat 11 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
