Mortal Kombat 11 Details And Screenshots Revealed

The Mortal Kombat series is a gem and it has aged like a fine wine opened at a fancy Michelin star restaurant, except there’s just a lot of blood and gore to the sided. No big deal or anything. The biggest news came earlier this week during The Game Awards ceremony when NetherRealm Studios and WB Games officially announced Mortal Kombat 11 in all its gorgeous, visually satisfying glory. There’s even brand new screenshots and details to show for it.

It will have been 4 long years since the last game debuted, but the wait will likely be rewarded with classic and new-age Mortal Kombat goodness. Check out the latest screenshots for the upcoming title:

According to the Steam page for Mortal Kombat 11, the series makes its triumphant return with availability on even more platforms. Players will be introduced to “custom character variations,” allowing more creative control over the way fighters are customized. Here’s the official statement:

Mortal Kombat is back and better than ever in the next evolution of the iconic franchise. The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own. The new graphics engine showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it. And featuring a roster of new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat’s best in class cinematic story mode continues the epic saga over 25 years in the making.”

Pre-orders are available now when the game launches this Spring and comes with Shao Kahn as well. Aside from the standard edition ($59.99 USD), MK11 offers a premium edition that includes the game and a Kombat Pack ($99.99 USD).
