Lego Ninjago game

The next Lego Movie from Warner Bros. will feature none other than the Ninjago franchise. Fans may have been ecstatic over the announcement of the film, but news of a new Lego Ninjago game has been unveiled and it is likely to put fans in a frenzy. The Lego Ninjago game will come out the same day as the film, September 22nd, giving fans twice the fun!

As can be seen from the video below, players will get to battle through eight locations based on the film. Ranking up characters and skills, running up walls, crazy jumps, Mastering Spinjitzu and the art of Ninjagility are all part of the game’s features. The aim is to defeat Lord Garmadon, who has a Shark Army, and save the land of Ninjago. Check out the trailer below:

Each location has its own Challenge Dojo where players can test their skills against enemies that become increasingly difficult. There is also a localized multiplayer feature where 4 players can battle it out in split-screen action! TT Games managing director for the new Lego Ninjago game Tom Stone talked about the game’s playability:

Enhanced movements will help players traverse Ninjago with the fluidity and grace of a secret ninja warrior and improve their combat skills.”

This new Lego Ninjago game isn’t the first time our blocky heroes have been featured in a title. For fans of Lego Dimensions, there may already be a familiarity with the characters showing up for this feature game. With September around the corner, fans will have plenty of time to practice their Spinjitzu before the game hits shelves for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
