Mass Effect’s Jennifer Hale Joins Star-Studded Cast for The Endless Mission (VIDEO)
As anyone who’s played Mass Effect is well-aware of, the cosmic trilogy‘s noble protagonist Commander Shepard (at least the female version) is portrayed by none other than Jennifer Hale, a voice actress famous for her exceedingly prolific roles in the gaming medium. Her credits notably span across franchises like Dragon Age, Star Wars, and Metal Gear, and now Hale is assembling for an all-new star-studded production titled The Endless Mission.
Described as a “sandbox style creation game,” The Endless Mission is an adventure where players take control of multiple genres to the beat of a fully-voiced narrative campaign. To go along with such a sweeping concept, developers E-Line Media have hired an epic cast to portray an array of in-game personalities. Joining the likes of Jennifer Hale, a lineup of several other voice-over artists were confirmed for the project, introducing Laura Bailey (Dragon Ball series, Gears 5), Alix Wilton Regan (Dragon Age series, Assassin’s Creed Origins), Sara Amini (Anthem), and Courtenay Taylor (Mass Effect series, Fallout series) in a new cast video, seen below.
With such a formidable and talented cast like Jennifer Hale, E-Line Media is clearly aiming to create a legitimate atmosphere for each of their game’s distinct genres. The Endless Mission is currently in development, with plans for a closed beta on the horizon and a release set for Steam Early Access later this summer. An official description can be read below.
The Endless Mission invites you to become a part of The Academy, an organization dedicated to helping the world use the technology that is around them – instead of being used by it. Explore a digital world where you have the power to fundamentally alter the framework around you, reshaping and creating as you see fit. This all happens while a colorful cast of characters stand by your side as you begin to pull back the curtain on a story that draws you behind the scenes of some of video gaming’s most iconic genres. From crafting your own spells and changing enemy behavior, to completely reshaping the surrounding landscape, The Endless Mission empowers players to rethink how games are built.”
