Nintendo Switch Users Will Be Able To Transfer Data To Lite Devices

Nintendo Switch Lite Nintendo Switch Data Transfer

Nintendo has officially unveiled their first spin-off device in the Nintendo Switch family, and with its arrival set for just a couple of months from now, fans will begin to wonder if it will be a good fit for them. Whether it is or not, if those who already own a Switch plan to pick up a Lite, it’s worth noting that you will be able to transfer data between the two.

As many of you know, cloud saving is already available on the Nintendo Switch, but it is only available with select titles such as Pokemon Let’s Go and Splatoon 2. Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser recently spoke with CNET about the upcoming Nintendo Switch Lite, which is set to arrive in September. One notable thing that was mentioned was in regards to data transfer between the two devices. “Yes, you will have the ability to transfer between devices, your gameplay experiences,” he said. “More to come on there, but that is the intention.”

During the same interview, Bowser also discussed how the Lite is meant to complement the Nintendo Switch rather than replace it. “We believe the two systems will complement each other and coexist in the market,” he said.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is set to arrive on September 20th for $199.99. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
