Mass Effect Andromeda’s Beta Tech Test for Multiplayer Officially Cancelled

Tech Test

Today is a sad day for fans of BioWare’s upcoming space odyssey, Mass Effect Andromeda. Revealed in a blog post today, BioWare developers have decided to cancel the upcoming beta tech test for gamers at home, while they prepare for the upcoming PAX East gaming event.

While we will have live multiplayer at PAX East, there will no longer be a multiplayer tech test for players at home. Thank you to everyone who signed up. We look forward to seeing you in Andromeda.

While this is a disappointing bit of news for everyone who was hoping to get a chance at playing this title a little early, there is still a silver lining to this particular announcement. Within the same blog post, Sean Trayner went into detail about the Mass Effect panel the developers will be hosting, stating that anyone who attends will still get a chance to play this game and get a taste of this fast-paced adventure during the March 10-12th weekend event.

“We’ll be running 12 NVidia PCs from 10am-10pm, giving you plenty of time to join the fight,” Trayner wrote in his blog post. “You can also visit Microsoft on the show floor (booth #13019) for your chance to play on Xbox One.”
