Mass Effect: Andromeda EA Origin Access Details – Here’s What You Can Play Early
The newest entry of the epic space opera video game series Mass Effect is almost upon us with Mass Effect: Andromeda. As the days get closer, more and more information has been revealed, giving us expectant gamers a clearer picture of what to expect when the game actually comes out. As we know from a few months ago, EA is letting the new game be played early as part of the Origin Access program, but in a limited form. A tweet from producer Fernando Melo has surfaced and clarified how limited the gameplay would be for the allotted 10-hour time limit:
you can play it all in sp if you want, but it is gated (you can't cont story after a point, but can explore or restart for ex)

A limited single-player campaign is pretty standard when it comes to Origin Access trials. The ability to explore the Andromeda galaxy after the few available stages are completed is just a really cool bonus. When Battlefield 1 had its own limited trial last year, it too gave unlimited access to multiplayer for the limited ten hours, but did not let the single-player story mode progress past a few missions.
EA’s Origin Access trial for Mass Effect Andromeda will begin on March 16th for Xbox One and PC platforms. No version for PlayStation 4 has been announced, but is expected as the system rarely participates in early access promotions. Playstation people will be able to play the full game when it comes out five days later on March 21st.
