Is that Peach? Sort of, but no. That’s Peachette, and Nintendo has announced her as the latest new addition to the upcoming mobile Mario Kart game, Mario Kart Tour! Revealed via the official Mario Kart Tour Twitter, Peachette is stepping on the gas and hopping the rails into Nintendo’s latest mobile game as a playable character! Check out the tweet below:

Peachette was originally featured in Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, and her origin is a bizarre but simple story. When Toadette dons the Super Crown – made popular by the internet sensation Bowsette – she magically transforms into a new version of the Mushroom Kingdom’s famous, perpetually in peril yet widely adored regent. With the release date for Mario Kart Tour just a few weeks away, it makes us wonder if Nintendo has anything else up their sleeves prior to the launch of the game.

Mario Kart Tour will be available Sep. 25 in the App Store and Google Play.  Fans can pre-register now for easier access to the game once it is released.
