Mario Kart Racing Wheel From HORI Announced For Nintendo Switch
Racing game fans know what they want. Some fans prefer to play simulation games like Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport, while many others prefer arcade racers like Need For Speed and Forza Horizon. While both genres regularly get fantastic titles, racing sim fans get extra bells and whistles with a multitude of steering wheel peripherals, which leaves many arcade racing fans to miss out on the fun with most games being control mapped to a normal console controller. There are exceptions to the rule, but there are still some games folks wish had dedicated steering wheel support or game-specific wheels. Hori has those folks covered with a wheel for the world’s most famous racing game, Mario Kart 8.
HORI, the venerable controller and video game accessory manufacturer, will be bringing a Nintendo Switch compatible racing wheel to North American and the UK. The news comes by way of a recently revealed Amazon list for the product that shows off its looks along with the product features. Check out the listing for it below!
Now, the listing screenshot does say that it doesn’t ship to the US, however, according to Nintendo Everything there is a tentative release date of November 12th for a North American release. While this is cool news, the US unfortunately won’t be getting the deluxe version of the wheel. That one is exclusive to Japan, and features advanced features like adjustable steering radius, deadzone adjustment, and mappable buttons. Whether you have a fancy wheel or not, you can still play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe now on Nintendo Switch.
Are you going to get the Mario Kart Racing Wheel Pro? Think we’ll get more character wheels beside the Mario ones pictured here? Let us know in the comments below! Be sure to also follow us on Twitter, Like us on Facebook, and check out all the latest news from Don’t Feed The Gamers:
