Madden NFL 20 Gameplay Revealed, Including New Mode And Much More (VIDEO)
Another year, another new Madden presentation at E3. The series has been a hallmark of the convention and a regular part of EA’s yearly press conferences. EA Sports has been regularly iterating on the franchise to deliver more robust gameplay modes, animations, and tweaks to mimic a simulation of American Football as closely as possible, such is the case for the upcoming Madden NFL 20.
While last year’s installment featured new content such as a sequel to Madden NFL 18’s narrative-driven “Longshot” mode, it also contained more RPG-based player progression in Franchise Mode. In addition to this, some improvements to the mega-popular Ultimate Team Mode were made, and Madden NFL 20 seeks to introduce all new modes that seem to focus a little more on single-player gamers. You can check out some of the upcoming title in action in the video below (beginning around the 34:00 minute mark):
We saw some awesome, hard-hitting footage of players like Alvin Kamara and Juju Smith-Schuster as well as the cover star and 2018 MVP Patrick Mahomes. We also saw the return of NCAA College Football teams. Players will be able to pick from schools such as Clemson, Texas, and LSU to play quarterback for in the new “Face of the Franchise” Career mode. The new Career mode allows you to create a premiere quarterback from a Division 1 school and live the journey of being an NFL rookie and, eventually, an all-star caliber player.
Are you ready for some video game football? Do you think EA’s latest iteration to the franchise looks better or worse than Madden NFL 19?
