During the Tokyo Game Show this year, Square Enix had a lot to say and on Kingdom Hearts III in particular. Throughout over an hour long presentation, developers and voice actors from the coming sequel sit on a panel to discuss the hard work and details behind the game, including teasers of a few key pieces of the main story.

At 31:59, a short clip reveals an epic face-off between the franchise’s beloved Sora and an equally adored character, Aqua. Yes, it’s a boss fight. Since the entire “Aqua got norted” fiasco that left the community speechless, the video shown during TGS 2018 only drove it further home. See for yourself below:

Whether you’re personally on board with Aqua joining the Darkness, she undoubtedly becomes a challenging boss encounter for Sora. Taking a look in the upper right hand corner, Aqua is hosting a ridiculous amount of health bars. Depending on personal difficulty settings, this can be relatively easy albeit long battle, or a test of mettle. It will be a tough pill to swallow for some, but here’s to hoping a good ending awaits the hero turned villain. Or will it be too late?
