Just Cause 4 Leaked On Steam Ahead Of E3 2018

Just Cause 4

With conferences for this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo set to begin tomorrow, you would think leaks could just hold out for the actual reveal. Unfortunately, that simply isn’t the case for some. The latest leak has seemingly confirmed the existence of Square Enix’s Just Cause 4.

Just as soon as it appeared in the Steam News page, it was gone with a flash. Luckily, with the internet being as crafty as it is, we have the “Pre-Purchase Now” image that was spotted. Thanks to Gematsu, you can check it out for yourself below:

Rico, is that you? Sadly, the image seen above is about all that has been leaked as of now. However, we can see that Rodriguez is rocking some rather sweet gear that appears to be a bit more technologically advanced. Also, it’s looking like the location is likely a bit different than the previous installment. Speaking of which, if Just Cause 4 is set to pick up where 2015’s entry left off, here’s a bit of a refresher:

“The Mediterranean republic of Medici is suffering under the brutal control of General Di Ravello, a dictator with an insatiable appetite for power. Enter Rico Rodriguez, a man on a mission to destroy the General’s hold on power by any means necessary. With over 400 square miles of complete freedom from sky to seabed and a huge arsenal of weaponry, gadgets and vehicles, prepare to unleash chaos in the most creative and explosive ways you can imagine.”

We are likely going to see the game officially announced during Square Enix’s E3 conference Monday, June 11th at 10am PDT. The current assumption is that the title will launch later this year for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
