Jump Force Adds Two New Dragon Ball Characters
Fresh from debuting a number of new transformations, the manga-collecting fighting title Jump Force has debuted a number of characters that will join in its epic crossover battle. New Dragon Ball fighters make the cut in this latest round of additions, with Cell and Piccolo now being confirmed for the roster.
Revealed in the latest issue of V-Jump (via Gematsu), both Piccolo and Cell were given the greenlight to duke it out amongst the rest of Jump Force’s ever-expanding lineup. Unfortunately, we have yet to see what the two will look like or how they’ll perform in-game, but a confirmation is likely enough for fans as of right now. This reveal suggests a proper showcase is to follow sometime soon.
The duo of formidable green fighters join Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza in the Jump Force roster, making Dragon Ball the most featured brand in the game. However, the series’ five fighters are hardly enough to overshadow fan-favorites such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Yu Yu Hakusho, and the recent unveiling of Saint Seiya to the brawl-based proceedings. Perhaps even more will be included over time as Jump Force makes its way to launch on February 15th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
What do you think? Are you glad to have Piccolo and Cell in the fight, or should Bandai Namco have brought a different series into the fold instead?
