Did WWE Superstar John Cena Just Hint at His Role In ‘Mortal Kombat 11’ As Stryker?
With the release of Mortal Kombat 11 just over the horizon, fans are wondering which fighters will be making a return from previous franchise installments. That said, WWE superstar John Cena recently hinted at the possibility that he’ll be taking on the role of Stryker.
While Cena himself is difficult to spot sometimes, his Instagram posts do not possess the same invisible qualities. As many of you may have noticed, popular digital artist Boss Logic has been on a bit of a tear lately, putting together an all-star cast for a theoretical Mortal Kombat project. Naturally, John Cena would fit perfectly in the role of Stryker, which led to the following:

After Boss Logic posted the above image, John Cena himself took to Instagram to share something. Without any caption or context whatsoever, the WWE superstar simply posted an image of Stryker:

Now, this is no confirmation that Cena will be assuming the role of Stryker in Mortal Kombat 11, but it does lead one to imagine as much. We already know that Ronda Rousey is playing Sonya Blade in the upcoming title, so it is isn’t too much of a stretch to think of Cena joining the cast.
Needless to say, keep the salt handy. However, if this does prove to be true, we imagine official word isn’t too far off. As for Mortal Kombat 11, fans will be able to experience the new title when it drops on April 23rd for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
