Latest Iron Man VR Update Adds New Game+ And More

Iron Man VR

Fans have been able to live out their superhero fantasies in Iron Man VR since it arrived last month for PlayStation VR. That said, the devs have now released a new update for the title that brings a handful of new features to the experience, including New Game+.

Camouflaj’s Blaine Higdon recently took to the PlayStation Blog to reveal the latest patch for Iron Man VR. Most notably, the update includes two new game modes: New Game+ and Ultimate difficulty mode. New Game+ “will allow you to re-experience the story without giving up your Research Points and unlocks for the Impulse Armor,” according to the post. Players will only be able to access New Game+ once they’ve completed the game. The Ultimate difficulty mode, on the other hand, will be more for the hardcore player who has already cleaned up shop in the Invincible difficulty.

There are also four new weapons that are included in the new Iron Man VR update: Continuous Beam Repulsor, EM Charge Cannon, Micro Swarm, and Gravity Bomb. Additionally, there are new Custom Armor Decos and Challenges, quality of life features, and more. You can check all of this out as well as a handful of GIFs showing off the new weapons over on the PlayStation Blog.

Iron Man VR is currently available exclusively on PlayStation 4 with PlayStation VR. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
