Injustice 2’s Ninja Turtles Shell Shock The Competition New Gameplay Trailer (VIDEO)
NetherRealm Studios’ fighting game Injustice 2 has been adding numerous new characters to its already expansive roster since it released back in 2017. Over several downloadable content, notable favorites such as Red Hood, Hellboy, and Mortal Kombat‘s Raiden have stepped up to take on all contenders. The final entry of Fighter Pack 3 will see the pizza-munching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles brought to the game, bringing with them all kinds of skillful moves and toasty burns.
A gameplay trailer featuring the Ninja Turtles in all their glory has now been released online and features a great look at each of the shelled brothers’ unique fight styles and attitudes. Michelangelo utilizes a skateboard weapon (as well as pop culture one-liners) to defeat opponents, Donatello brings an appropriate technical moveset with his staff, Leonardo slices and dices with dual katanas, and Raphael brutalizes the competition with hard-hitting blows. All four’s spectacular Super Move sees these clashing styles unite in a combined bombardment of all of the above. Check out the trailer below.
Fans have finally been delivered the gameplay goods and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can’t get here soon enough. While we’ve still yet to get a more specific release date, it should only be a matter of time before developers are ready to release. With an upcoming Watchtower stream coming up, that might present the best time to learn the long awaited date. When that day hits, the Turtles will join the likes of Atom and Enchantress as the final members of Fighter Pack 3. Injustice 2 is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are expected to arrive sometime in February.
