Harvest Moon is easily recognizable as one of the most well-known farming simulation games on the market with regular releases of spin-off games. It’s been years since the last mainline title released but a new one is just on the horizon! Heading to Nintendo Switch this Fall, Natsume Inc. and Rising Star Games introduced Harvest Moon: One World as the latest and most innovative release yet. Check out the Twitter announcement:

Harvest Moon: One World will feature a “brand-new way of exploring” the world for new and knowledgeable players alike. There will be new and familiar characters, villages, and challenges to take on as players take care of their own land.

“Buoyed by a mysterious discovery, set out on an adventure that goes beyond your hometown, spanning the whole world,” reads the official description. “What kind of people and places await? From the gorgeous beaches of Halo-Halo to the snowy mountains of Salmiakki, there’s an entire world to explore.”

Harvest Moon: One World is expected to release this Fall for Nintendo Switch. More details will be revealed within the forthcoming days and weeks, according to Natsume Inc. and we can’t wait to see what kind of sneak peek the team has in store for fans across the globe. With the Summer Games just around the corner, we might be getting exactly what we’re hoping for.

For those unfamiliar with Harvest Moon, the series began when the first title released in 1996 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (AKA Super Famicom in Japan).  It’s a wholesome farm simulation role-playing series. Later down the line, the series introduced marriage and children as well! So if you’re looking for another slice of life game like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this might be right up your alley.
