Select Harry Potter fans have been enjoying the beta of the mobile game recently, so when Niantic officially announced that it was being released this Friday, everybody got excited. That said, it appears that there is something even more to get excited about when it comes to Harry Potter: Wizards Unite – it has arrived a day earlier than expected!

That’s right, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is officially available to download right now. This means that you and all of your friends can take on the evil that is afoot, traversing your towns, waving your wands around, and casting aside the enemies that attempt to take you down.

For those who don’t know what Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is all about, here’s more:

“A calamity has befallen the wizarding world, causing artefacts, creatures, people, and even memories to mysteriously appear in the Muggle world,” reads an official pitch of the game. “Witches and wizards from across the globe must come together to solve the mystery of The Calamity, overcome the confounding chaotic magic that surrounds these ‘Foundables,’ and return them to their rightful place, keeping them safe from Muggle eyes.”
