Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Lets You Befriend Some Very Good Puppers
Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends DLC brought loads of exciting new features to Sucker Punch’s already stellar title. An impressive and enjoyable multiplayer mode headlines the update, as does the implementation of New Game+. All things pale in comparison, of course, to the fact that players can now pet and befriend some adorable canine companions thanks to Ghost of Tsushima version 1.1.
As reported by the folks over at Game Informer, the arrival of Ghost of Tsushima version 1.1 brings with it the ability to pet dogs and, eventually, have them aid Jin in battle. Creative Director Nate Fox revealed that in order to go about doing this, players will need to obtain one of the new charms implemented in New Game+. “I think a really good example of this new addition is that there is the charm of canine recruitment that allows you to sneak up on an enemy Mongol dog,” Fox said, “and if you pet it enough, he’ll suddenly start fighting on your side.”
We’re certainly not saying that the ability to fight dogs in Ghost of Tsushima is a major selling point…wait, yes we are. If that’s not enough to persuade you, players can also take a trip down memory lane thanks to the soothing voice of Greg Baldwin, who provides the voiceover work for the new Legends character, Gyozen. More on that can be read right here.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is now available on PlayStation 4.
