Genshin Impact 2.0 Special Program Stream Announced

Genshin Impact 2.0 Reveal Stream Announced

Genshin Impact players that have been paying attention to all of the leaks these past few months likely know most, if not all there is to know about the upcoming Inazuma region, including which new characters are on the horizon. Genshin Impact developer miHoYo has somewhat mitigated this by coming out and revealing the new characters ahead of schedule, though there’s still plenty to reveal given all the new content that comes with a new region. To that end, the developer has announced a special program stream that will be debuting later this week.

Game developer miHoYo took to Twitter to announce the New Version Special Program, which in layman’s terms means “There’s a lot of new stuff coming and we’re showing you what to expect.” The preview will take place at 8:00 AM (UTC-4) on July 9th, which is 5:00 AM PT. While the streams tend to premiere on YouTube, this time around it will premiere on Twitch first, after which the recording will be released on YouTube on July 9 at 12:00 PM (UTC-4), or 9:00 AM PT.

With how rampant leaks for Genshin Impact has been, it wouldn’t be particularly surprising for miHoYo to jump ahead and reveal more of what’s to come following the release of the Inazuma region. Either way, fans will be able to look forward to an electrifying presentation this Friday.

Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Android & iOS devices.
