Forza Horizon 4 Crossover With Halo Is Real, Warthogs And All (VIDEO)
Ever wanted to drive a Warthog through the UK countryside? Well, the folks at Playground Games have you covered. There were some rumblings last month about a leak involving multiple screenshots of the upcoming Forza Horizon 4 that showed off multiple cars and an image that featured a Warthog and a Pelican. While we were certainly tantalized by this little tease, it only left us wanting more.
Well, we’ve recently received way more than we bargained for with Playground unveiling the Warthog mission during one of their monthly YouTube streams. The action has been helpfully bookmarked for your viewing pleasure below at the 1:46:40 mark:
The mission looks way more in-depth than what many originally thought we’d get. Turns out the player won’t just be able to pick the vehicle for races, but there’s also an entire Halo-themed mission with some fantastic bells and whistles that really make it stand out. You’ll see Pelicans flying around and banshees zooming alongside as you go through smoke gates and drift through the grassy UK plains causing property damage to everything in site. No picnic table will stand in your way to the finish!
Players will also be treated to full-on voice-over work from Jen Taylor’s Cortana and some other flavor text from UNSC troopers. The 343 and Playground staff playing the mission don’t specify if the Warthog will be limited to this one experience in the game, but we’ll be sure to let you know otherwise if anything comes up!
