Forza Horizon 3 Lets You Get Behind the Wheel of Final Fantasy 15’s Regalia for Free (VIDEO)
One thing we here at DFTG enjoyed during our review of Final Fantasy 15 was the customization and automation of the classically stylish Regalia. Cracking open a few cold ones with the boys and looking like you were about to drop the hottest boy band album of the century, the Regalia was a great vehicle that was a steadfast hallmark when making memories with Noctis and the gang. For fans of the hit driving game Forza Horizon 3, the chance to experience this smooth ride is now available for free. You can see the Regalia in all of her glory in the reveal trailer below:
Isn’t she a beaut? The Regalia made her Forza Horizon 3 debut at this year’s China Joy 2017 showcase and Microsoft couldn’t wait to show what she has in store for drivers: a 7.2-liter supercharged V12 and a maximum horsepower up to 536, she’ll get the job done and in a way that will have Final Fantasy fans extremely happy.
If you’ve played Forza Horizon 3 or Final Fantasy 15 on the Xbox One, you can get the Regalia for free come August 1st. How to receive the sweet new ride is simple: players will find an in-game message bearing the code for the new vehicle. Redeem the code and the car is ready to go. For those that haven’t played either title before, there’s still time! Though Microsoft has not clarified whether or not it will be purchasable as a standalone DLC at a later date. If it’s like their Halo vehicle, it is very possible that the Regalia will also be purchasable as a stand-alone down the road (get it, down the road?).
What do you think about the Regalia making its way onto the tracks of Forza Horizon? What other video game vehicles would you like to see crossed over?
