Firewatch Developer Announces New Game – In The Valley Of Gods (VIDEO)

From the same folks that developed the gorgeous, mystery adventure game, Firewatch developer Campo Santo presents an all new IP titled In the Valley of Gods. During the Game Awards 2017, Geoff Keighly, introduced the new game with an announcement trailer from the developers seen below. Bringing to gamers another single-player, adventure game with a gripping narrative, players take on the role of Rashida, a “disgraced former explorer and filmaker”.

Taking place in 1920’s Egypt, Rashida and her exploration partner, Zora, must set aside their differences to make an incredible “archaeological discovery”. In the Valley of Gods is currently scheduled for a tenative 2019 release for PC, Ma, and Linux while other platforms are to be determined at a later date. In the Valley of Gods is still in development so more is yet to be discovered on gameplay. According to the Firewatch developers, their newest IP is nothing like mentioned title, but the same quality in voice work and storytelling can be expected. The game is currently available to be added on Steam wishlist. Unfortunately, pre-orders are not available just yet.
