Final Fantasy XIV Announces Free Login Campaign For Lapsed Players
Oftentimes, a portion of the player base of your typical MMORPG titles – World of Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls Online, etc – takes breaks from the game every now and then, whether it be to focus on different games or to simply put a temporary halt to what is considered to be a near endless grind. With the Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers expansion now live, many FFXIV players have begun to return to the fold to see what new content Square Enix has to offer. Now, lapsed players have a bit more of an added incentive thanks to the newly announced Free Login Campaign.
Square Enix has announced a Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV players that have been inactive for at least 30 days. Available now and running through August 16th, returning players can login for free! There are, of course, a few restrictions. Players are unable to take advantage of the Free Login Campaign if they are using multiple accounts and at least one of them has been used within the last 30 days. Additionally, if one of the accounts has been banned then it also won’t be eligible for the free login days.
The Final Fantasy XIV Free Login Campaign coincides with this year’s Moonfire Faire event, which began back on August 7th. Running through August 26th, this year’s iteration of the event features a brand new quest, as well as loads of obtainable cosmetic items and outdoor furnishings. Those interested need only head to the Upper Decks of Limsa Lominsa and speak with Mayaru Moyaru to get the ball rolling.
Final Fantasy XIV is now available for PC and PlayStation 4.
