The Final Fantasy VII Remake has been out for just under a week now, providing both fans of the original game and newcomers an excellent outlet of enjoyment during the ongoing pandemic. Many avid fans have turned their passions into creative outlets, while one popular pianist has decided to give video game cosplaying a go and went ahead and recorded herself playing Tifa’s theme while cosplaying as the fan favorite character.

As reported by PrimaGames, popular YouTuber Ru’s Piano recently released a video showing her playing Tifa’s theme song on piano while cosplaying as the new Final Fantasy VII Remake version of the character. The video itself isn’t particularly flashy, it’s just 5 or so minutes of her jamming out to Tifa’s Theme by Nobuo Uematsu. And you know what? That’s what makes it perfect. Check it out below:

It should be noted that, while this is Ru’s first video game character cosplay, she is by no means new to cosplaying, having done countless ones in conjunction with playing the piano, much in the same way we’re seeing her here as Tifa. She has dressed up as Goku to play a Dragon Ball piano medley, Hinata for a Naruto Shippuden piano medley, and plenty more.
