Final Fantasy VII Remake Will Include Tons Of New Jessie Content
It looks like Jessie is getting a whole lot of love for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake. Excitement for the game reached a new high upon the recent release of the playable demo, wherein it was revealed that whatever the developers did with Jessie, it resulted in the character skyrocketing to the top of “best girl” fan lists within the game. Now, it has been revealed that Jessie – along with the other AVALANCHE members – will be getting a ton of new explorable content in the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
In a recent interview with 4Gamer, Final Fantasy VII Remake co-director Tetsuya Nomura opened up about some of what fans can expect from the game’s side quest content, which will apparently be as large as the game’s main story. “There are many new events in the main story,” said Nomura.
Like a scene where you end up visiting Jessie’s parents, eating dinner. Each member of Avalanche is much more detailed compared to the original game, with new events to boot. By the time players leave Midgar, I’m sure they’ll be satisfied.”
Tetsuya Nomura goes on to explain that Midgar is, well, a massive city, and as such players will find themselves moving around “using vehicles at some points.” We don’t know exactly how this’ll translate onto the screen, though it’s possible that Cloud and friends will be using the game’s train system to fast travel around Midgar.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake is slated to release on April 10, 2020 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
