Square Enix is no stranger to food tie-ins within their franchises, most especially with the Final Fantasy series.  The most recent recipient in the series to receive tasty promotional treats is Final Fantasy XV, with Nissin’s Cup Noodles  popping up in plenty of places across the world of Eos.  Retail store Target also ran a temporary promotion with Jones soda to produce Wiz’s Energizing Elixir, a delicious orange cream soda whose name referenced the Chocobo Ranch in FFXV.  Now, it appears that Square Enix is teaming up with Domino’s to serve up some Final Fantasy-themed pizza to the masses – but only if you’re in Australia.

Just announced, Domino’s has added some special pizzas to their Australian Pizza Mogul menus, and is now offering a $50 ‘Final Fantasy XIV Pizza and Gaming bundle’.  The bundle comes with three regular-sized pizzas, garlic bread, and a 1.25-liter beverage.  Those that purchase the special bundle will also be sent a code that can be redeemed for a free copy of Final Fantasy XIV Online – Complete Edition for PS4 or PC.  Valued at $80, the bundle comes with the base game and both Heavensward and Stormblood, the title’s expansions.  According to Domino’s, those that purchase the bundle will receive the code within 24 hours of paying for the order.

Now, onto the Final Fantasy-themed pizza.  Shown below, each pizza is cleverly named to tie in to Final Fantasy, and they look delicious.  One such pizza is called ‘Chocobo Chow’, and it comes with seasoned chicken, capsicum, mozzarella cheese, mushroom, red onion, pepperoni, pineapple, pizza sauce and spring onion on classic crust.  Another available pizza on the menu is called ‘Moogle Meatlovers’, which comes with rasher bacon, barbecue sauce, ground beef, mozzarella cheese, cherry wood smoked leg ham, pepperoni and Italian sausage on classic crust.  Those of us that are confined to the ‘States can only hope that the promotion gains enough traction to be brought stateside, because these sound amazing – the pizza and gaming bundle happens to be a fantastic deal too!
