Father Asks Voice of FFXV’s Prompto to Record a Special Holiday Message for his Daughter – Aw!
Imagine you have just received the greatest, nerdy present you could have gotten for Christmas. What comes to mind? Is it something signed by your favorite game developer? A lifetime supply of credits for your favorite title? Those all sound like pretty incredible things for a true fan to receive, but it is this one, single moment of ingenious thinking that proved one father knows exactly how to treat his little girl during the holiday season. Nobo515 on Reddit, posted about this particular gift explaining that his daughter, Euphrates, absolutely adored Robbie Daymond’s Prompto of Final Fantasy XV. This intrepid father then reached out to Daymond, asking for a quote on how much it might be if he could record a special holiday message for his daughter.
Apparently Daymond thought it was a great idea too, and simply sent him the recording in question, no charge!

In the recorded message, Daymond greets Euphrates as Prompto, wishing her a wonderful holiday, before singing to her. Nobo515, or Frankie, then went on to post a reaction image of Euphrates as she listened to the recording for the first time. Needless to say, her tears of joy are definitely apparent in the image.
Prompto has quickly become Daymond’s most iconic role in voice acting, and its easy to see how much heart he put into recording this present for a special fan. Tapping into the character’s goofy, playful personality, Daymond certainly earned some major kudos from us for the gift, proving that fan appreciation is definitely important when it comes to reaching out and connecting with gamers.
This certainly has been an eventful holiday for Square Enix and Final Fantasy, as just a few days ago, the developers announced that they will be releasing a holiday pack to gamers. There will be content available whether or not you have the Final Fantasy season pass, so there’s no need to worry about missing out on the fun! While the pack doesn’t come with personalized voice recordings for fans, however, it certainly promises some great things for gamers, so make sure you jump on board and get your own DLC to celebrate!
So what do you think of this incredible gift to a fan? Are you a fan of Robbie Daymond and his line of work? Have you had a chance to play Final Fantasy XV yet? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and game on!
